NCCT Ltd’s staff have experience that specialises in the installation of communications, electrical, signalling cabling and equipment. Our staff have first class knowledge and experience in the installation of fibre optics, CAT 5, leaky feeder, PA, CCTV systems and all aspects of electrical installation, maintenance and testing/inspection. NCCT have been involved in many turn key projects on both the London Underground and the Docklands Light Railway Network.

During the last two years we have been involved in and continue to successfully address the installation of new build Tetra Radio and SDH Transmission Networks on the Citylink Connect Project. Connect will provide RF coverage to the complete London Underground network both public and off campus. NCCT Ltd have provided Fluor with key project staff to facilitate design surveys, Safety/QA documentation and Installation Teams. NCCT are currently providing a fifty man project team of highly trained individuals, these individuals have been trained to meet both NCCT’s stringent requirements and also those of Fluor Limited. Our production of scope of Works documentation has provided Fluor with baseline Communications routes for both Fibre and RF cabling, associated civil works, RF cable and Fixing Methods, termination of RF cables (hot working), AFL equipment Inclusive of gauging and clearance approvals.

NCCT Ltd is a fully mobile, with a fleet of fully equipped vans, flexible, experienced and skilled workforce providing Fluor and other contractors such as CBS, Clancy Docwra, Installation Technology, Mouchel Parkman and Serco with flexibility to hit any site at any time day or night inclusive of weekends, managing all aspects of Survey, Installation, Documentation and Cut/Over.

NCCT Ltd’s staff also provide an extensive knowledge of Projects away from the Rail industry, however still within an engineering background. These include CCTV, telecom and data systems for clients such as AOL and Sunlife Insurance. We also have the experience of working on Large Node Projects, such as Telehouse (Europe), Harbour Exchange and Global Crossing.

NCCT staff also installed a new fibre Open Transport Network (OTN) throughout the whole DLR City Airport extension. In addition we installed the communications systems on all of the 4 new stations including CCTV, PA, Help Points and fibre splicing. We were also responsible for commissioning the new system and linking back to the Poplar Control Centre.

Our staff have previously worked on all Jubilee Line stations enabling the existing platforms to allow for a 7th Carriage to be added to the trains. Our staff were personally responsible for the decommissioning of the old OPO equipment, installing and adjusting the existing OPO system, installing new platform end barriers and repositioning of the station limit markers.

Currently we are also providing man power and expertise for CBS Outdoor and Clancy Docwra. The work we are carrying out for CBS Outdoor and Clancy Docwra includes the installation of standalone LCD digital screens, installation of Digital Escalator Panels which involves installing containment and power. To complete this work we are providing Communications Engineers who upload the content onto the LCD screens until the LAN/WAN is connected to the LCD screens.

Most recently, we are involved in providing Site Management to CBS Outdoor for the new Cross Track Projection project currently being installed in prime location sites on the London Underground network.

We have recently completed Invert Surveys (under platform voids) for Mouchel. This involved producing detailed reports with drawings on all services and the internal makeup (construction) of the Inverts. These surveys were carried out on various stations to facilitate the design/construction phase of Cooling The Tube Project for TFL on London Underground.
